i managed to let go of my neat freak guard for the past 3 weeks and in turn enjoyed a visit from the in-laws and my niece. sofia was enamored with her cousin, and this was a god sent for all of us. we thoroughly enjoyed having her around, her patience was put to the test with sofia.....she was so sweet and played my little pony, dress up, princess, etc. to sofia's demands & desires. here are some highlights:
the ranch
sofia's birthday
friends' birthday parties
back to school for sofia (more on that later)
target, kohls, tj maxx, marshalls, dsw, ross, cvs
repeat each location in the above bullet 10 times
neighborhood walks
lots of spanish practice for denise, sofia & stella - stella's favorite word "aplauso"
beauty shop
gipsy kingshawaiian falls
stella's birthday
the magic time machine - i have not been here since i was a child but remember it being a highlight anytime our family desination would take us through dallas or san antonio. the joker was our waiter but princess fiona, cinderella and pocahontas were big hits as well!!!

Looks like fun! I also love Magic Time Machine! Blast from the past. I once wore my Wonder Woman underoos there and showed them to our Wonder Woman waitress. Yes, this was just last year. (I kid.)
that is fabulous! the pictures of sof playing beauty shop with juan & reyna are GREAT. i know they were sad to go. i am so happy you got to make this happen. now...get some REST.
my favorite pic is the one of sofia and abuelito in the beauty shop. FABULOUS. grandfathers and granddaughters have such a special bond.
i'm very impressed with all the things you guys did. i'm reminded of the will and grace episode where grace and will are forced to do the bike ride to the pumpkin patch despite the fact that "we don't DO things". great pics of beautiful girls...looks like you have terrific pils. (i'm jealous).

gustavo's parents are sure to treasure these memories. the beauty shop is priceless and seem SO sofia :)) watching grandparents with their grankids is something super special!!
i'm with sofia on the joker....that is something nightmares are made of.....

I insist! I'm in love with Stella. She's, as we say here in Honduras, "para comersela!". Thanks for everything you did for the family. Monica got depressed when she got back! I don't blame her!
