two hours from dallas, in graham, texas is a place called wildcatter ranch. we booked a one night stay here when we found out gustavo's parents were coming, thinking this might be something new for them....a working texas ranch.
some activities we did:
horseback riding (juan & gustavo)
fed the longhorns
swimming
tether ball
bike riding
roasted marshmellows
massages (reyna & denise)
dined at wildcatter steakhouse (ranked 26th best steakhouse in texas. this is substantial if you know how many steakhouses there are in texas!)
activities we'll do next time:
all of the above
horseshoes
washers
archery
conoeing
skeet shooting
a guide drove us in an ATV to feed the longhorns. i asked him where he was from and he replied "right here in god's country". i felt like it really was a small piece of god's country.

by the way...isn't everywhere in texas "god's country"? i feel like it is.
That looks like a BLAST! I would love to go feed the longhorns some day. Glad you had a great time!

wow that looks like a lot of fun. it does look like god's country, so you will have to compare the other god's country when you come to pa and we go to our mountain house as you are entering the town we are in there is a big sign that says potter county, god's country. it is equally as beautiful.
