i just signed up for the race. this is a good time to remember to stay informed and educated.
i feel confident that we all know survivors, and sadly we all know ones who have lost the cancer battle. my mom is a survivor (that is, 3-time cancer survivor!!), and nancy g. brinker is a hero!

congrats to all the survivors, i celebrate this month and remember those who lost the battle. i hope all of you get annual checks and when we reach that wonderful age in a few years that all of you (us) go for your mamogram its so important to be aware early. i wouldn't want to lose any of you.

The pink ribbon and what it stands for always makes my heart do flip-flops in my chest. I'm always so proud of women in their fight for their strength, power, fortitude and conviction AND saddened that is an issue we're still battling (with far too many losing).
