there is this small block in richardson, tx famed DFW china town. no, it's absoutely not the china town of san francisco or new york or boston. it's a block! well, maybe a strip of blocks. i've heard about it, i've driven by it, i've always wanted to try a restaurant. gustavo had a fabulous idea last night, "let's go have dim sum". i hesitated, then thought "yes, let's do!". so we went.
so the jury is out. i don't want to half ass my list, so can i check off 21. go to richardson for some dim sum or no?

has anyone ever told you that you look like martha plimpton? it struck me in that photo just now.
as for your list...i have to vote no since you didn't actually get to EAT the dim sum. it's a bummer really, since you went to all the trouble and they were freakin' closed. bugger! but kudos for getting out there and at least trying. you get points for good intentions.
it wasn't closed per se. we ate there, we just ate off the menu because the dim sum is only until 3pm. does that make a difference?

i think it can count...and if the mood ever strikes you again, you will know you have to be there before 3p and you can post 21 as completed a second time.
i do not think you look like martha p. but suppose i can see where she gets that.
since i don't know what dim sum is and i can give you credit for traveling out of 214, i say yes. check it off.
of course, i am kind of a slacker.
I think you should try again, but, if you never get it done by your next birthday...so what.
Your intentions were all good....but it didn't happen the way you listed it. I think you'll definitely get there again before your 35th (?) and can then count it. Besides, it's a good excuse to have another date with your husband and go back! : )
