life is good...and simple

well it was unfortunate that we weren't able to see wil and betsy. i am glad i went though, we had fun. it's great for the girls to take a break from the rat race and have a taste of the good life. that's lamesa, i think.

sofia will get up close and personal with animals, she always has! i learned i might be more of a city slicker than i'd like to admit, opting to encourage all interaction but hanging in the backdrop. stella loved it too, but did not want to feed the animals...she rather would give sofia food & hay to have sofia feed them. here's what we (or they) got up close and personal with:

slugs
turtles
fish
horses
miniature horses
chickens
roosters
longhorns (including a 2 week old longhorn!)
donkeys
goats
dogs
cats
rabbits

note to wil: when you're in lamesa this summer make stevie take you to TA's to visit the longhorns & donkeys. make papa take you on the golf cart to visit all the other animals! :-)
