what was not completed on the list:
9. spend the night at the belmont - we planned to do this for my bday in march, but we ended up in honduras instead.
11. go to a couple of late nights at the dma - simply an effort wasn't made, but i would still really like to do this!
12. take the kids to our favorite sushi restaurant - we attemped this a couple of months ago. we arrived at 4:30, and it doesn't open until 5pm we found out. there was not way we were going to wait 30 minutes with 2 hungry children.
14. visit my childhood bestfriend - i guess this technically didn't happen. so happy i saw her several different times in several different places!
15. go to the metropolitan opera - i hoped to piggy back this with 14.
17. take gustavo to the lamesa sky-vue - shameful that this wasn't accomplished.
20. go to the dallas opera - i've decided that i only need to experience the met opera.
21. go to richardson for some dim sum - if you recall, this was attemped but unsuccessful.
25. read 3 books - technically this was accomplished but so not worth a blog post.
26. get away (anywhere, anyway) with gustavo sans kiddos - nope, simply didn't happen.
28. have a professional photo session of our family - nope, didn't happen.
29. mail actual birthday cards to close friends and family vs. email (boo!) - this was the most difficult thing on the list i dare say, and i can honestly say i failed miserably!
coming soon: 35 things!
(rolling over some things that weren't complete)

i'm impressed! you did an outstanding job on such an ambitious list....LOVE IT!
denise - you did such a great job on your list - can't wait to see the new one!
you did a wonderful job denise! to leave so few things undone is a total accomplishment. i am proud of you and, yes, we need to go to the met. next year?
you did a wonderful job chomping away at your list, and should feel proud of your accomplishments.
congrats!!!!!
I join the chorus in saying that you really did you an unbelievably fantastic job on this list!
Make this 26 on the random things list, but I have a superstition that if everything is done (like if my house were to ever really be totally clean and everything in place), God will take you...cause you're done. Strange? I know, but you need to have things to keep doing. Better that there are still things to do on your list.
you did make a huge dent in it, so kudos all round.
