a gift!

what a fabulous treat!

  • we got babysitters & ate some good mexican food.
  • ryan and gustavo played wii until 4:30am.
  • gustavo lost so many times he decided it was the tv's fault, so the next day ryan and gustavo came home with a new tv, for each of them.
  • ryan slaved away putting together the tv stand (a 2nd outing), then back to the real world for him the next morning.
  • b and i drank lots of coffee, watched the babes play, had a playdate with the hart boys, went out for sushi and out again for breakfast, watched trash tv, drank the vino, and talked talked talked....

  • it seems destined that when we are together somebody gets sick. last time it was b & i, this time it was wil & stella. fortunately they held off until the end of the trip.

can't wait for the monlina's to hit the garden state!

Much needed visit for you all, I'm sure. I commented to Betsy once that I find it interesting that when she's headed to Texas for a visit, she refers to it as "going home." She lives in NJ, but home is where the heart is, right?

sounds like a great time, it just stinks that someone is always sick when you all get together, one of these times your luck will change and no one will be sick. glad everyone had a great time.

i'm with rita, why no pics of the boys wii-ing???
