foto friday: peacocks

in the neighborhood just over from us, there are peacocks that freely walk the streets. there is a horse boarding/stable in this same neighborhood where the peacocks "live", but you can actually find them anytime of the day on any given street, on porches, hanging out in front yards, etc. whenever we need to kill some time, we head to this neighborhood and drive the streets, looking at the many peacocks that are cruising around. we usually don't see their feathers spread, so we were excited when we saw this one!

you might be thinking: TX, horses, peacocks, stables....they are in the country! but it is actually quite the contrary, we are in an urban area which makes it all the cooler!
