am i young?

a series of events happened to me last saturday that led me to ask myself this question. first i was out for a walk and remembering a conversation i had with the previous owner of the house across the street from us. she mentioned to me that she thought we would really enjoy the new owners and that they seem like a nice young couple. great, i thought! when i met the new neighbors, i thought "man we might not be a young couple anymore, they are a YOUNG couple". after my walk i was in our front yard watching sofia swing on her trapeze bar, lifting her legs over the bar and swinging upside down. i thought, "i'm going to give that a shot and prove i am young". coincidentally gustavo sees my attempts and comments "you aren't young anymore". argh! being young is a choice!! so while i couldn't lift my legs over the bar and swing upside down, i did have fun and felt young. i am going to keep swinging until i can lift my legs over the bar and swing upside down! you'll see....and yes, i am young!

(what i failed to mention is that i was sore the next day, but hey that's okay! oh and those are our neighbors across the street:-)
